Payne Worldwide - 4 Corners of the World Dinner Dance

Sapphire created an exciting and memorable evening for Payne Worldwide and their employees by capturing the cultures and cuisines of the four corners of the world where the company is based.  Guests were captivated by the intricacies of the theming and the diversity of cultural delicacies offered in each corner of the banqueting suite. 

1st Corner - USA - Hollywood Theme: Guests were taken to a world of glitz and glamour as we re-created Hollywood with a six foot Oscar Statue, Clapper Boards, Marilyn Monroe and James Dean Characters set around the famous Hollywood hills backdrop.  Guests were overwhelmed by the feeling of a Celebrity Lifestyle as they strolled down the red carpet to indulge themselves in truly American classic dishes.

2nd Corner - China - Oriental Theme: Guests were whisked off to a magical oriental world of Shanghi landscapes, spices and exotic, oriental cuisine.  The Oriental corner was themed with low lighting, beautiful coloured lanterns, an oriental mystical dragon backdrop, butterflies and beautiful handmade oriental umbrellas and a mannequin in traditional Chinese cheongsam dress. 

3rd Corner - India - Bollywood Theme: Guests were transported to India with the famous Taj Mahal backdrop, a life size baby Indian elephant and a traditionally dressed mannequin displaying extravagant fabrics. Some even struggled to remember they were in fact still in the UK as the rich scent of spices filled the air and they enjoyed tasty traditional Indian dishes.

4th Corner - Brazil - Carnival Theme: Guests were taken to a world of bright colours, huge feathers, extravagant decor and some of the most evocative aspects of Brazil while indulging in tradition Brazilian cuisine. The Carnival style backdrop and flamboyantly dressed mannequin, life size Brazilian surfer, beautifully coloured parrot, huge bowl of fresh fruit and brightly coloured paper lanterns captured a real Latino spirit.
